Sword Health is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Sword Health is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Technical Specifications
The accessibility of Sword Health services including the Mobile and Web App relies on the following technologies to ensure compatibility with modern web browsers and assistive tools (such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack):
Web Frameworks: HTML5, CSS3 (including SASS/LESS for responsive styling), and React.js / Vue.js for dynamic interface management.
Mobile Frameworks: Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android), utilizing native accessibility APIs for haptic feedback and screen reader optimization.
AI & Voice Interface: Phoenix Real-Time Voice AI, built with proprietary speech-to-text (STT) and natural language processing (NLP) to allow hands-free interaction for members with limited mobility.
WAI-ARIA 1.2, for web-based tools and Apple/Google Native Accessibility APIs (including UIAccessibility and AccessibilityService) for real-time biofeedback and motion tracking within our mobile applications.
API & Data: powered backend, ensuring accessibility metadata (like alt-t).
